Welcome to the Daiglen School, a small, friendly preparatory school for boys and girls aged 3 to 11 years. Ours is a family school in every sense. It is a particular joy to hear parents and grandparents reminisce about their own happy times at Daiglen when they spot themselves in old school photographs or on Honours boards.
The Daiglen school is rich in history and tradition and our community is based on clear moral values of courtesy, respect and endeavour.
It is built around an elegant Victorian house with much of its stained glass and cornices intact. Modern features include a new gymnasium and art room, a fully equipped ICT suite and a purpose built science laboratory. It is pleasantly situated on the borders of Epping Forest and is well served by public transport.
Here, each child is unique and special. Individual and group success are celebrated as children learn the importance of pursuing their ambitions with determination and perseverance. They are inspired to do well both by their excellent teachers and by the example of older children who become their role models. Individual qualities are nurtured and developed in an atmosphere of mutual respect and support.
Our pupils flourish in this environment and leave as caring, confident, articulate and well-mannered young people, fully prepared for the next step in their journey through life.
At the Daiglen School, we believe that it is in the child's best interests for education to be a close partnership between home and school. If, having visited this website, you feel that our school would suit your child, or if you would like to know more about us, please make arrangements to visit us. Prospective parents are always welcome.
